Beer + Science – Talk about dung beetles (5th Nov.)
CLIMBFUN project will be funded by AEI
We will have funding during 3 years to evaluate how dung beetle diversity and the ecosystem functions they perform vary along elevational gradients and over time, also inferring how the observed changes are related to climate change.
BSc and MSc students presented their dissertations
Well done Javier Sánchez (MSc), Lorena León (BSc) and Paula Pérez (BSc) for the great work you have done
DUNGPOOL team present at the SIBECOL/AEET Meeting
Results from DUNGPOOL were presented at the SIBECOL/AEET meeting in early June, in Pontevedra (Spain). Talk 1: Cuesta, E. et al. Evaluating the effects of global warming on dung beetle diversity and ecosystem functions through field...
DUNGPOOL field work finished
We performed the last field experiments, using mesocosms with different temperatures to test for the effect of climate change and priority effects on dung removal
Sonia Llorente obtained her PhD
Her thesis title is: "Integrating functional and phylogenetic diversity in conservation science”. Congratulations Dr. Llorente-Culebras! We are all proud of you
